On Tuesday, March 12th, Joe Zee came to speak to students at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Joe Zee, creative director at ELLE Magazine, and FIT Alum, is one of the most inspiring people to hear speak. He talked about getting to where he is today and how he is excited to see what the unplanned future will bring him. When he was a student and now in his professional career did not and will not take no as answer. When asked what motivates Joe everyday, he replied,”When I am driven by the things I love and am excited about it really makes me get going. There are time I don't sleep so much but that is okay because I love what I do.” Joe's love for his job definitely is evident when he speaks or answers the questions of students. He genuinely wants to give as much guidance and advice he can to students as well as people people trying to make it in the fashion business. He even manages to help aspiring designers on his new show All on the Line on Sundance channel. Whats next for Joe Zee? “I dont know if I said what I wanted to do next it probably wouldnt happen that way. I am most excited about technology and see what it will do for this business.”
